Job Search Notion Template

The useful distinction

A Notion template can reduce setup, but imported complexity often becomes a maintenance burden. Start with the decisions your search requires.

A template should be a starting point for a workflow, not a promise that every search needs the same database.

A practical workflow

Use the following as a working sequence, then adapt it to the companies and conversations in front of you.

• Create an application database and one timeline view
• Add interview notes without duplicating the role record
• Remove fields that you do not update consistently

Keep the system workable

Keep one clear record for the opportunity, its current stage, the people involved and the next action. That gives you enough structure to return to the search without adding ceremony.

Candidate keeps this context together so a useful update after an application, conversation or exercise does not need to be copied across several tools.
